Waterford to Kingston, July 23th

Leaving Kingston, we just missed a proper good bye and thanks with John Callaghan who had helped to arrange the itinerary of this trip. John, Many thanks!

The Federal Lock at Troy, NY.

A beauty docked in the Hudson at Albany.

Back in Kingston, we saw newspapers showing local damage from a tornado associated with the storm two days earlier. We again talked with Captain John of the Teal tour boat. He said that he had been keeping a close eye on the weather and was following its movement and figuring when it would arrive. He managed to dock and discharge all his passengers just before the storm hit.
